Had given up Walking as exercise – something I had previously Loved to do

Having sustained severe leg and foot injuries in a car accident nine years ago, I was unable to walk far or fast, and had given up walking as exercise – something I had previously loved to do, particularly as I live in one of the most beautiful parts of Canada.

Eighteen months ago, at a women’s trade fair, I saw the Keenfit Walking Poles and was inspired to buy a pair.

I started walking on a local trail running along the sea shore – at first just one kilometre, then two, increasing gradually as I became accustomed to the motion. I found that the Walking Poles supported me so well that I was soon able to walk quite briskly, and without pain.

I now walk the entire trail – four kilometres – at least five times weekly. I have since bought Walking Poles for both my daughter and my husband. An added benefit has been that my daughter is often able to join me on my daily walks.

When I visited my sister in England last year, I took my Walking Poles with me, and was delighted to once again be able to join her in hiking England’s beautiful countryside. Keenfit Walking Poles have certainly given me back a lot of enjoyment in life. Thank you.
