Here is another story for your Pole Walking repertoire, on Tuesday Susan and I walked at 6:00 am and I had forgot to take my rings off before going to bed the night before.

When walking without Poles, my hands really swelled up and I felt my rings were going to cut my fingers off. On Wednesday, back walking with my Poles and I left my rings on, my hands did not swell, so the Poles helped my hands too!
