Nancy Steps up her Game!
I started walking to lose weight when I was in my early thirties and along with diet was successful. I am now sixty so I have been walking for thirty years. Over this time period I have had some medical issues and my weight came back. Needless to say it has been a struggle to get the weight off again.
I seriously started Pole Walking a year ago and the first time out thought to myself this is really different than just walking.
I now walk five to six times a week, have increased my heart rate and endurance to where my two thirty something daughters have a hard time keeping up with me. I have lost weight and people are always in disbelief when they find out I’m sixty years old.
I don’t have a before or after picture as I don’t own a camera, we just bought a computer a couple of years ago. I don’t have a cell phone either, who needs them, when you’re out Pole Walking.. you’re meeting new people all the time. Keep walking and smile life is good.
